Roanoke
Roanoke Robotics & Makers Club is a community STEM supporter for 8+ years. We build robots, have friendly competitions, workshops, & coding classes. We learn from each other and we have a lot of fun!Meetings are held at the South County Library in Roanoke, Virginia, usually on the first Saturday of each month. The club meeting, from 10 - 11 am, includes introductions, meet and greet, show and tell, Q&A, share ideas, and feedback what the club could do together. It's also a chance to practice presentation skills in a friendly coaching style atmosphere. The club's short program presentations from 11 am - 12 pm, are open to the public as well as club members. The program consists of an interactive hands-on STEM topic of interest. The robotics club is for everyone: adults, families and kids of all ages. If you like to build, design, hack, modify, learn about and share robotics and other exciting technologies, you'd enjoy our group!
