The late Nelson S. Bond published hundreds of short stories in major magazines like Astounding Science Fiction and Weird Tales. He wrote radio serials. He wrote television scripts for NBC and CBS. He wrote the official stage adaptation of George Orwell's novel Animal Farm. And he lived in Roanoke. In fact, he's the reason science fiction conventions in Roanoke got started. Come hear about this remarkable figure in science fiction history from people who knew him and his work.
