Women are finally getting some recognition and representation in film with heroes like Lara Croft and Wonder Woman, but what about representation of other subcultures? Why are roles for characters whom are handicapped played by able-bodied people? What representation does the LGBTQ community receive? With the Charmed reboot, one of the sisters is a lesbian. Is this a step in the right direction? What more can be done?
